Barack Obama is going to be our President! I have been glued to the t.v. for the past 3 hours. I knew if he won it would be a touching and exciting moment but I got teary eyed. I feel hopeful for our country's economy, enviornment and our international image to improve but most importantly I am so proud of our country. I feel like we truly live in a time when ALL parents, no matter what the color of their skin can tell their children, "when you grow up, you can be ANYTHING".
For African Americans this is a monumental moment, I cannot even imagine what they must be feeling....but I would imagine they are thinking..."Yes we can"! So, thank you to Barack Obama for changing the face of our country and giving us all hope for a better future. Some have questioned if he is ready.. and tonight the majority of our country have spoken..."Yes he can"!
Oh...and now it is official....I have a picture with the President of the United States!

i bet you guys are throwing a major party right now!!! you'd better blow up that picture and frame it & hang it right where everyone can see when they walk through your front door.
as for a playdate tomorrow, it sounds like fun, caleb has been acting like he's been feeling a little funny the past couple of days so i will give you a call in the morning & let you know. sound okay?
