Staying busy

The kids have been keeping me busy lately. Kora went to her first movie at the Theater when I took her to see Curious George Movie & she really had fun. I was proud of her for sitting and being so quiet for so long. She only got up once to use the bathroom.

Kai has been busy this week at Speed & Agility camp at ASC (the indoor soccer place) 

The kids also went to their yearly appointments at Dr. Padrez's office. Kai was acting crazy wearing his paper gown. He weighs 54 pds (33%) he's 4 feet 3 inches tall (58%) He's one healthy boy.

Kali was not as happy in her paper gown & did not want a pic taken. She weighs 66lbs (27%) and is 4feet 9 inches tall (84%) The doctor told us that she needs to gain 3 pounds. So we're working on getting this girl to eat more, it's NOT easy. 

Kora on the other hand has the appetite of her Daddy. She is NOT picky and eats everything. She weighs 33 lbs (77%) and is 3 feet 2 inches tall (76%) She's one healthy girl.

 Kali went to So You Think You Can Dance Camp this week and had a fun time do all kinds of dance.

 Kora was in Mommy and Me ballet last week & told me she wanted me to wait outside SOOOO this week she was moved up to 3-5 year old ballet ALL BY HERSELF. My little baby is a big girl now. I was so proud of her. She had fun dancing around to Disney music with these cute girls. Miss Suzy taught Kali too so we know she is great.

 Kora also went to her story time at the library and Kali was able to come with while Kai was at speed camp across the street.

 Kai had a great time this week at his speed camp & is faster.

One more week and then it's back to school. 

Summer days

We've really been enjoying summer vacation and it's only day 3! Kali and Kai go to swim team in the morning. Kora likes to go with me to pick them up and see all of the kids. 

Lately, Kora is obsessed with little "Dobbie" he little stuffed animal she carries around. She said he took a pee today at swim team. Great.

 Almost half of the kids at swim team are from Kali's school so she has a fun time and likes seeing her friends. She said the water is not too cold.

 After swim team we went to the library for Kora's storytime and to check out some books. Kali and Kai were happy to meet Kora's teacher Miss Mavis. Kora calls her Miss Mae Mae and talks about her a lot.

Now we're waiting for Kai's friend to come over. Kali had her friend over yesterday so we've had a busy house. Hooray for summer days!

100th Day of School

Today was the 100th Day of School. I am not sure why this needs to be celebrated? (and I celebrate pretty much everything) So to mark this momentous day Kai's 1st grade class was suppose to dress up like a 100 year old. (Kai said it's LAME, and he's right) Kai informed me that most people don't live to be 100 and so you'd be dead. So he dressed as a zombie. If you ask me that's pretty good thinking on his part. He fell and smashed his face on a door frame the other day so he has a bad lightning bolt shaped bruise on his face so we just added some dark eyes and lines on his face and BOOM! we got a 100 year old zombie ;) Look how silly all of these cute kids look dressed like elderly people. Kai is in the flannel shirt looking all creepy.

Kali's class did not celebrate 100 day so she just dressed cute & without knowing had a twins day with her friend Lauren.

Little Koko went to story time which she USE to LOVE! Now she decided that she is not going to participate and just sit there like a crabby patty. It's really great because I love sitting on the floor with a cranky 2 year old on my lap while singing songs that she won't dance to. Not sure why she has done a 180 on this little class.

 Kora LOVES going to her story time and ballet classes during the week. She is so outgoing and fun lately. Koko is such a happy little girl and just so much fun to have around.
