It was Nate's birthday so we celebrated with Red Velvet cake for the kids & Monika made a delicious tiramisu.

What a fun weekend!

Splish splash!

It has been so warm outside lately and the kids have been cooped up! If Kai does not spend at least a few hours outside everyday he gets SO crazy. So we went to the splash park with Lynsey, Caleb & Leah & had a fun time.

Kali told me that the art she makes is "look art" and cannot be touched, just like the art at the museum. Funny girl :)

We have one more week until swim, ballet & Kai's new sport class starts. This is going to be a very busy & very FUN summer for these kiddos!

Kali & Kai's Birthday part 4

Today is Kai's birthday so in honor of my little guy....all the things he loves:

Oh and what did we do today for Kai's birthday? My mom and I took the kids to their pediatrician check up. Kali had to get 4 shots..ouch! And, Kai had to get 2. So we went to their favorite restaurant, Flamingo Palace and had lunch. Then, we went to Target to get C batteries for Kali's sewing machine & Kai's remote control car & it made their little arms feel better :)

Waking up bright & early to open presents....seriously if you us you know we sleep in until 9:30 or 10am but the kids were up and ready at 8:30!! That is early for us :)

Then it was off to Yaya & Granddad's to open more presents
