Everyone loves a parade....

Last Saturday was the APS Lights Parade and this year we went with our friends Lynsey, Ben and their son Caleb. It was
a night filled with luck. First, we found the perfect parking spot right next to the church where the parade starts, we found the best seats in a grassy area at the start of the parade and finally as soon as we sat down the parade started--LUCKY~! Because if you have young children you know that any sitting around can end up in some sort of freak out. Kali LOVED the parade as usual, especially the cheerleaders that gave the kids some glow bracelets. And, she had fun spending time with her friend, Caleb. Kai liked the parts of the parade that did not involve loud music, he cried when the floats were close and blaring holiday tunes. I felt the same when one float stopped in front of us and was blaring Jessica Simpson butchering a holiday tune. We even made it home without any tears in the car and both of the kids went to bed......the Becker's sure do love a parade :)
