Thanksgiving

I am sick. Super sick & pregnant so no cold medicine for me. Kali is home sick too & seems to have the same thing I have. Kai had a stomach flu earlier this week. FUN times over at the Becker home.

I forgot to post Thanksgiving pics so here are all the ones I took that day. It was such a nice, relaxing Thanksgiving....the best we've had so far!

Hello Christmas!!

Last night we went to Grandma Kathi's house for dinner & tree decorating. After we stopped by "Santa's House" on Thunderbird & the 51, it was the perfect start to Christmastime!

Dec 2- not really a holiday event but it's First Friday Art Walk which is always fun starts at Phx Art museum

Dec 3- My 32nd b-day--YAY!! & the APS Light Parade on Central Ave @7pm

Dec 7th- Desert Ridge Holiday Storytime 5-7pm (free) & nightly snowfall at 7pm

Dec 9th- Holiday @ the Fall Pointe Tapitio Pool 5-8pm (2 cans of canned food per person)
Dec 10- Tempe Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade @ Tempe Town Lake 4-9pm
Dec 14- Desert Ridge Holiday Storytime 5-7pm

Dec 21- Desert Ridge Holiday Storytime 5-7pm

All through December you can also visit Phoenix Zoo Lights, Mesa LDS Temple Lights (free), Glendale Glitters & McCormick Ranch Train Park

Getting ready for Thanksgiving

The kids made "thankful" trees. They said they're thankful for our family, toys, the new baby coming, Noodle & friends.

Kali had a feast at school today and Kai and I got to come.

She was such a cute little pilgrim.

And Kai made this hilarious hat at preschool. He cracks me up!

I love being a Mommy so much and I am so grateful that we'll be adding another baby to love to our family. .

Amos Family Reunion

Last Saturday the Amos Family (my mom's side) got together for our family reunion at McCormick Ranch park. That morning some of us ran in the Colon Cancer Alliance Undy 5000. I ran the 5k with my brother Bret. And I did pretty good, I got a 31:46. I was really proud of myself, never thought I'd be running a 5k pregnant :) Here are some pics from the reunion.

Parent's day at Ballet

We got to watch Kali's ballet class on Tuesday at the Community Center. She is such a colorful little gal...all the other girls like to wear the basic pink/black combo but not our fancy lady. She's such a good little dancer and just loves all of her classes. (I am not too fond of driving all over the place but as long as she is happy and serious about dance then I am game) We're really lucky to have found such a great dance class at the community center to supplement her other classes at the Dance Shoppe Studio. (plus it saves a lot of money and that's always a good thing)

Just kickin' it

We went to Mr. Beckers game on Sunday. It was nice weather, perfect for being outside.

Here is Kai watching Daddy play soccer in the same tree he was sitting in when he got hit with the ball. I gues this kid isn't a fast learner....luckily he did not get hit with the ball this time.
