Breakfast with Koko

Kora is getting SO big! She just wants to do whatever Kali and Kai do. So she has given up on her high chair and eats right at the counter like the big kids. Kora is one strong willed, hilarious, driven, happy little girl. She is the perfect little caboose on our family train :)

eleven

eleven years ago today we were in Maui getting "Maui'd" on the beach.

 Francis is the best friend I have ever had. I cannot imagine my life without him. We've had a lot of downs over these 11 years but SO many more ups. I know that no matter what happens in life I've always got Fran in my corner & that is pretty darn wonderful.

Happy 11 years of love to us :)

Spring Break part 1

 The kids and I have been enjoying Spring Break this week. We've been sleeping in everyday past 9, staying up late watching movies,

having friends over

 swimming (brrrr!)

 getting chores done

 shopping, playing & having lunch with Yaya at Desert Ridge

Kora made wishes in the fountain & she really threw the penny hard & far. It was SO funny :)

 Kora had fun in this play area & was being so wild that some little boys started copying her and they got in trouble by their Mom. It was funny that little 20 month old Koko could be a bad influence on some older boys...ha!

 We also spent a day a the zoo. The weather was SOOO nice and we have not been in while so Koko LOVED seeing all of the animals. Look how tall Kali is getting!!

 Kora ate snacks the entire time we were there.

 Then she decided she wanted out of the stroller and wanted to do whatever the big kids were doing.

St. Patty's

I found a really cute St. Patty's day scavenger hunt idea on Pinterest so when the kids woke up they got to go on a hunt for their "treasure". The really liked it & then we had green spinach pancakes for breakfast.

Random bits

Kali and Kai had class t-shirt day at school. Kali's class is  Dohogne's Diamondbacks & Kai's is Kistner's Koalas.

 Kora and I go for walks during the week with my friend Janee (she lives down the street) and her boys. Kora eats tons of snacks & Janee & I get to talk. It's fun & good exercise.

 I also got to meet up with the cheer girls (my friends from NCHS cheer) at LGO, our favorite! We got to hear about our friend Lori's pregnancy (the girl next to me) we're SO excited for her! She has been trying for years and we were so happy to hear that a new little baby is coming to our group. Between all of us at the table we have 9 and now soon to be 10 :)

Kora likes to eat on the counter lately. It's not fun to clean up after.  

39 and looking fine

Francis turned 39! He was not too excited about it but the kids were really excited to give him his gift & the cards they made. We sure do love this handsome old guy :)

This week....

This week I went to have lunch with Kai & he picked his little pal Diem to come sit with us. Aren't they cute?!

 Then Francis came with me to meet the kids for lunch & we surprised Kali & Kai with Barro's pizza

so Koko found their full lunch boxes when they got home and chowed down

 It was spirit week at school. Monday was book character day. Kali was a cowgirl from "Every cowgirl needs a horse" and Kai was Percy Jackson (look at his shoes with wings...just like the book!) He even picked this all out on his own.

Tues was mismatch day & Kali and Kai did not want to do that. Wed was hmmmm I can't remember.

And, Thursday was 70's, 80's, or 90's day. (Kai was home "sick") and Kali dressed like I did in grade school. On a funny side note: Kai thought you were suppose to dress like you're 70-90 years old. ha!

 Finally, these three have been playing so cute together lately. It never last for more than an hour but it's sure cute when it happening :)

Museum day

We went to the Arizona Museum of Natural History with our friends down the street.

 It was a fun day.
