They had a pizza party and ice cream sundaes. Cleaned the tables with shaving cream and watched a movie. It was a great last day to a wonderful year. I cried on her first day and I cried on her last. I am so grateful to Mrs. Carmen for making this year so special for Kali and for teaching her SO much.

"Fun Day"
Do you remember when you were young and there was Field Day? Well now it is called "Fun Day" because heaven forbid anyone get their feelings hurt. So all the kids do little activities and nobody wins or loses and there are no ribbons.
I know this does not sound that fun but the PE teacher at my daughter's school is awesome! This Fun Day was soooo cute and the kids had a great time.
It was pretty warm so the kids did water activities too.
Kai even joined in the fun!
They took a break inside with some lemonade and watched a part of the Lion King.

The longest post ever!
Kali went back to school. We are back on our normal schedule and this guy is back to getting up early and watching Jake & the Neverland Pirates.
These are the flowers out front.
Mint, roses, pansies and stock flowers
My Easter Lily, basil & ivy

Pansies, rosemary & Petunias
Sugar snap peas creeping up the chicken wire and a tomato plant that has now grown at all.
Green beans
my cilantro is going to seed...bummer
all the roses are so healthy right now, I like mini-roses the best because they are perfect in small vases around the house
My newly painted chair and our ice plant in the back
The garden
