MacDonald's Ranch with Granddad

We went to Mac Donald's Ranch with my Dad on Sunday. It was hot, dusty and smelled awful. Kali said it was fun and Kai said he will NEVER go back.
But we had Yogurtini after so it was all worth it.

Oh and Kali was extra brave and rode a horse for the first time. Kai was an old pro.

Party time!!!

We started yesterday off with Kali's ballet/tap class where so wore her pirate tutu. We came home, changed into this Dalmatian puppy costume and got Kai's knight costume and headed to the neighborhood park party.

It was SO hot :( Poor little Kai was sweating to death in this thing but he looked good. Kali won the costume contest this year (Kai won last year). All in all it was a success.

We came home and started to get ready for our party.

What Kali has been up to

She had her first book report this year. She did Amelia Bedelia...Kali LOVES her & I am happy because I did too when I was young so she reads some of my old books.

She has early release every Wednesday and since it was SOOO nice outside this week we met her friend Marli at the park.

Kali's soooo lucky to have such a nice friend, Kai even likes her too :)

Kali is taking dance 3 days a week now--which means I do a lot of driving around but she is so happy.

My mom bought her this pretty tutu at a boutique.

We had a yard sale this past weekend and the kids were really excited about getting to use the lemonade stand that my parents made them. The even made $50 selling water bottles, cookies, chip bags and lemonade. Kali woke up at 6:30 am and was all ready to go sell.

She is one busy gal :)
