Kali's field day

Field day started out very raining so I waited in the school parking lot with my Mom and Kora for the rain to let up. Kali was SO excited for this field day because her class was in the final tug of war. That is a really big deal at Lookout. Here are the girls in her class waiting for the races to start.

Their class won the girls 4 person relay and the boys too!
Koko was very comfy in her chair eating snacks. Yaya came and helped me watch her. Granddad came too and played with her in the play ground. Grandma Kathi was there watching too. Kali told everyone to come!

Kai field day

Field day in Phoenix is always such lovely event. Just kidding. It was hot & the grass field was half dead. The kids can't really even compete so they do hula hoops, jump rope, parachute, carry an egg on a spoon. Then at the end of this "field day" they all get a participation ribbon. Shesh. Kai said it was "kind of lame". Amen little man! Granddad came to watch and he could not figure out why the kids weren't running. Well in 2015 1st graders don't run on field day. You could fall down and get a boo boo.
Kora came with me and had fun eating a waffle and other various snacks and then joining in freeze dance, hula hooping, and the egg carry with the kids. Kai's class all know Koko. Here are some pictures of the day.
