Kali's big week!

Kali has spirit week at school.
Monday was pajama day.
 Tuesday was Twin Day
Wednesday was mismatch day (Kali was very excited to dress all crazy)

Thursday was school spirit day but I don't have a picture of that.
Friday was the grand final...Favorite Book Character Day!
Kali was Nellie Sue from "Every Cowgirl Needs a Horse".
Her costume was AMAZING.
My Mom made it & it really looked just like the girl in the book. Yaya is one crafy Grandma :)
My Mom & Dad watched the parade with me, Kai & Kora.

This week was also "Parent's Week" at dance.
We were able to go and sit in her classes and take photos.
Kali has only been at Arizona Dance Artistry for a few months now but she has learned SOOO much!
It's amazing what a difference it's made in her dancing.

She is so close to her splits and streches every night.

Celebrate!

Things we are celebrating at the Becker house:
This little lady is a rollie pollie ollie!
She is also getting up on her hands and knees now...crawling is next & yikes we're going to be in trouble because she is a grabby little thing.
 They love Kora sooooo much!

 and she loves them!

Koko is starting to sit up too :)
Kali's school is having Spirit Week.
Monday was Pajama Day
Kora starting saying "oooo" this week and it's pretty funny

This guy starting playing soccer again after 6 months off & he scored the winning goal in his first game back!
Go Daddy!!
Finally we were able to pay off all of our credit card debt.
It was like a huge weight was lifted off of my chest.
Seriously it was such a wonderful feeling.
We had to celebrate with a lobster tail dinner (Fran made it which was sooo nice) and s'mores outback by the fire.
In honor of the payoff we sent off the last sky lantern to symbolize letting go of our worry about debt.

Kali's new ballet

Kali recently started ballet at new studio and she loves it! It's very serious and she goes for an hour, two days a week & they have a dress code. Here are the girls taking thier written ballet terms exam. (Kali has a Valentine's bow in her hair)

 Heel stretches

She is very happy in her new class & has met some nice girls.
I am very proud of our little ballerina.

p.s. Kai is still in Karate but we can't go in his class to take pictures & he stands in a far corner so that I can't get a good picture of him.

Pinterest Lovin'

Here are some more fun ideas we tried from Pinterest. Kali & Kai both loved having glow sticks in the bath tub.
We made these a while ago & the kids liked them. Kali & Kai like any craft that involves paint.
This is a great idea for the tooth fairy. I found tiny bottles like this at Michael's in their dollar section. They were almost identical except the ones I bought have cork tops. Kali LOVED getting them from the tooth fairy.

and finally...this is hilarious!

Remember my posts about my sweet little Kora? Well she is gone. Now we have nasty, fussy, screaming Kora. She NEVER wants to take a nap longer than 20 minutes, she is up 4-6 times a night & if she is not being held or fed she is screaming bloody murder. So I totally get this pin :)

Kali's Valentine's Day Party

Kali had some good friend's over for a Valentine's Day craft party.
It was so cute! Kali has such nice friends & I got to visit with a few of their Mom's during the party.
It was such a nice day & Kora liked watching it all.

Hiking the hill

The other day the weather was perfect!
While Kora napped & I cleaned,  Francis took the kids hiking on the hill by our house. Kai brought his little goo ball shooting guns and they had a great time.

Kali is really working this pose with a water bottles and our rock stacks we all made on the hill.
I love how much our kids like to be outdoors.
