Since the kids have been sick for what seems like FOREVER they have really been missing Natalie and Sophie or as Kai would say, "Nana and Sosa". We met them at the park today and had a great time! I think the best part is that the kids played together and Monika and I were to chit chat almost completely uninterrupted--amazing!

and these chatty girls met about 6 six other kids at the park, they are sooooo social and friendly

I am so glad I signed Kali up for the classes at the community center because that is where Kali and met Natalie & we have all been friends ever since. Even my cranky Mr. Becker gets along with Monika's husband & that is amazing-- ha! (hopefully Mr. B does not read this)

Sick/Rainy days

The kids have both been sick. Kali got it first and gave it to Kai and let me tell you he was NOT happy about it. He kept saying, "Kal got me sick, she has germs". And since there has been SO much rain we have been indoors for the past THREE days! That is rough for us since we usually spend at least 2 hours outside everyday.

So there has been a lot of snuggling Kali "helped" me with some sewing.

we also did lots of coloring and Kai decided to color his feet and the counter top, what a sweet boy :) I am so glad they are starting to feel better.

Kai just came to me and said, "Kai feel a little bit better".

Art & Bubbles!

I use to play with this bubble goo when I was young and when I was at Safeway last night I saw some and thought the kids would like it.

They LOVED it!

Kali has been quite the artist lately, she even brought out her fake fruit and arranged them on the table and painted a picture of them. She is one artsy gal.

This is where I can find my little Kali girl for at least an hour everyday.

she loves playing with her Polly Pockets and little Princess dolls.....she even has little voices for them that are so cute.

Grasshopper park with the Rea's

Francis had Monday off last week and we took the kids to the park. We've been having the BEST weather lately and the kids have been able to pratice riding their bikes. Kali likes us to

hold onto her bike since the one time Fran let go she turned to sharp and almost fell. Kali is soooo cautious.

Kai on the other hand just takes off as soon as his bum hits the seat!
