Diverse Elements

Kali started at a new dance studio, Diverse Elements. She's learned a lot so far & the studio is right down the street from the soccer fields so it's a win-win. 

Fran's soccer

Francis had a game on Sunday and it was HOT! He played well & the team tied 0-0

 Aiden & Heidi came to watch Francis so Kai had fun playing with Aiden

Fountain Hills

We drove out to Fountain Hills on Saturday for Kai's game. He scored 2 goals and had 4 assists. Pretty darn good game. We went over to the fountain park for lunch. It was a little hot but we had a good time.

Sand Dragons FC

We watched Francis play soccer on Sunday. Kai brought his soccer & football to kick on the open goal. The Sand Dragons won!

The Nervous System

Kali and Ruby were partners for  studying the nervous system. Kali just met her this year and they did not really know each other. These two girls could not be more a like. They had SO much fun and went above and beyond on their project. Mr. Archer said it was the best in the class! They are both so creative, enthusiastic and eager to learn. It was fun to watch them.

Hat Trick & a Baby Shower

Kai had a hat trick in one of his games on Saturday. It was his second game of the day against the Blackhawks (a year older too) Kai played in a 3rd game with a different coach who needed him for a tournament. It was a really hot day but he said he had fun playing all of those games. 

 Kali stopped by the first game for a bit and then we picked up my Mom and Kora and headed to a baby shower for my cousin Frankie.

Elephant Toothpaste

Kali and her friend Ruby have been hard at work on their science project about the nervous system. Their teacher also gave them a book with idea for experiments. They made "elephant toothpaste". 

Happenings....

Kali did some dissecting at school and thought it was great! She also started volleyball this week and had a lot of fun! 

 There was one nice day this week so we rode up to the school to have lunch with Kali and Kai

 Kai and I went to see Francis play on his new outdoor soccer team. He even scored one for us!

 Francis and I got to go out for dinner at our favorite restaurant, Fuego Bistro

 Kora and I running errands

 Kali excited for school and Kai not wanting to go....ha!
