We got some sad news recently. My OBGYN passed away. It was shocking and very sad. The saddest thing is that she left behind 3 young boys. Thankfully, I had several girlfriends recommend their OBGYN's to me so I was able to find a replacement fast. Since I am 24 weeks along I did not have time to waste. My new OBGYN is really nice & has a fun, upbeat personality....I need to have a doctor like that this time around since Kai's delivery was difficult. She said I will be having a c-section and since Kai was so big we will schedule it a week earlier than my due date! I am really happy that she listened to me about the complications I had with Kai's birth.
So things were a little stressful last week with all of this but after I left her office I was feeling very much at ease and even a little excited about my scheduled c-section since she told me step by step what to expect. No doctor has ever done that for me. Here's hoping that my 3rd delivery will be all smooth sailing. After the awful year 2012 has been so far for me personally I really need this delivery to be easy.
