Last day of 2nd grade

 Yesterday was Kali's last day of 2nd grade.

She was excited in the morning and sad in the afternoon to leave, she just loves school!

 They will have a brand new school next year so this is her last time in the "old school"

The teachers had to pack up their entire rooms before the old school is torn down.

8 is great!

8 years ago I gave birth to this sassy, sweet, talented & talkative little lady

 Kali is just such a fun girl & I feel so lucky to be her Mom.

 Today she had "water day" at school & got to walk to the park with the entire 2nd grade and play games. Here are a few pictures of Kali & her classmates.

Evening of the Arts

Kali's school had an Evening of the Arts & Kali was picked to read the poem she wrote .

When it was time for the 2nd graders to go she ran up there and made sure she was first to read, she was soooo excited! This girl is so confident in front of people. We were very proud of her & we just love her sweet poem about love.

We also got to see some of her art that she has made this year.

Kali LOVES to be dressed up.

She told me that if they ever had uniforms at school it would be terrible because she would not be able to express herself. ha!

Spring Break

 

Our Spring Break was last week. The kids were sick for most of it so the fun stuff we did was filled with tissues, eucalyptus oil, honey, tea & a trip to the Pediatrician. We still managed to have a great week. And, getting to sleep in for an entire week is always much appreciated.

We left this out for the kids on St. Patrick's day this year. (keeping it simple this year)

 We went shopping out in Anthem at the outlet stores & had lunch (Daddy was wearing his new birthday shirt)

 then was wild and ready to go!

 Such a fun park & sooo pretty

Now Kali is back at school & we miss her :( But glad the kids are healthy again & Kora survived her first cold. Francis and I went out for an anniversary dinner at Fuego Bistro--sooo good. Colds and all, it was still a really nice week.
