Fran's mom is going out of town for Christmas so we celebrated early at her house and had brunch. The kids got lots of cute gifts Fran was excited to get a pair of running shoes. He asks for running shoes every year from his mom...he is pretty easy to buy for :)

So fun! What is it with Grandparents leaving for Christmas though? My mom is leaving for a cruise in the Bahamas on Wednesday, and will not return until after Christmas.
Sorry I couldn't make your party last night. My mom and her husband said they might be able to leave the Christmas party they were at early, but they ended up having a bunch of fun. You have to love it when your ONLY babysitters can't come through...
