The Joys of Cardboard & other randomness

The picture you are about to see contains 3 GROWN men who between them have a Global Business Degree, History Degree, one is working on this Global Business Degree, a Policeman, and an Auditor yet these three BOYS propped my sweet little Kai's basketball hoop on my yet to be painted garage sale dresser and play full on basketball games in the back for the past 3 nights! The grass in that part of the yard is officially dead.


This game ended with my green pepper plant being squished and Kai almost being bonked in the head with the ball

Oh the Joys of Cardboard......

In the past we have made pirate ships and cars out of cardborad boxes but this weekend....it was a train complete with toilet paper roll whistle.

Toot! Toot!

And, since Daddy was home he decided to take box from a new stove my parent's bought and turn it into Chateau de la Cardboard for the kiddos.

It is so nice out today the kids play in their little house, painted the little house and ate marshmallows on the little eat in kitchen window Fran made. I swear if this man put half of that energy into pulling some weeds or putting in our new toilet all would be right in the world :) Kali and Kai were happy to play in their sand box today because finally the sand is not hot and Kai did not throw sand in her eyes today....what a nice boy :)
