Kali's Last Day of Preschool

Today was Kali's last day of preschool. I have to admit I was so sad about it last night and I even shed a few tears. Kali, on the other hand, is SO excited about Kindergarten next year. We made cupcakes for her class today and she picked these flowers out for her teachers & arranged them into these mason jars. Miss Margaret & Miss Carol have been her teachers for two years now and she just loves them. Kali will miss them but Kai gets to start in Sept so we will still see them.

Since Saturday is Kali's birthday she got to wear this cute crown.
Kai waited outside and made sure he brought his money with him so he could get a snack....this kid's world revolves around food.

I really can't believe she is going to be starting school and I have to be honest I was SO hoping the state would cancel all day Kindergarten. I know she is going to LOVE school though. She is so friendly and she always looks out for the smaller kids and the shy ones. She is a good listener and observer and loves to learn. We are so proud of her for being the only one in her class that can write her name (legibly) and she's also one tough chica and never lets people bully or hurt others. Kali is a yip-yapping machine but she stays quiet in class (says her teachers) so that is good.
I am so proud to be her mama.
