School Events

Kai and I went to the "Dudes Dance" formerly called the "Mom Prom" at the school. We had the BEST time. We literally danced the entire time! He has two friends with really fun Moms that danced with us. Most everyone else just stood around but we had a great time. I love that Kai is not embarrassed to hang with me. He was so happy to be there with me and told me it was the best. I sure love this cool guy.

 The school also had a bingo/pizza night for families and it was a lot of fun. I am very happy that we switched to Hidden Hills because it's half the size of their old school and has such a nice small community feel. Kora won bingo twice! She was really excited.

AR Party

The school had an AR Party and I came to help. Kora loves when we go help at the school. It was a fun carnival theme for the kids.

School Week

It was school spirit week and the kids did wacky hat day

 and wacky outfit day

 Kali's teacher also gave her a fish that week, WHY?!

 and since the weather has been nice she had a neighbor friend come over and shoot hoops

Citizenship Award

Kai received the citizenship award in his class. Mrs. Gerard said that he makes good choices. Proud of my boy!

Halloween 2016

We started our Halloween day at Kora's preschool class and they had a mini celebration.

 Then, we went to Kai's class to help with his party. Their school let them wear their costumes. it was the first time for Kali and Kai and they were so excited!

 We came home and got the front yard all ready for trick or treaters. Kali was Cleopatra, Kai's a football player and Kora is Elena of Avalor.

 Our cul-de-sac all came out to handout at the table and visit. It was nice.

We did not have too many trick or treaters because it was a school night but it was a fun night with neighbors and family.

AR Disco Party

I volunteered to help at the AR party because both Kali and Kai earned their way there. It was a fun Disco party and since the Becker's love to dance it was lots of fun for them!

Random happenings.....

On Labor Day we had a BBQ at Grandma Kathi's and had fun swimming.

 Kai wanted to help me in the kitchen so I taught him how to make buttermilk biscuits and he did a great job.

 Kora came with me to volunteer in Kai's classroom and got to visit my friend Joy who teaches at Kai and Kali's school.

 Kora and I went to lunch and shopping at Desert Ridge with Yaya

 It's been cooling off in the evening so we've been able to have a few meals outside

 I worked a few day at the kid's school and I even got to sub for Kai's class

 Kai was so happy to have me as a sub. He has a great class!

First Day of School 2016

Both of the kids are at Hidden Hills now! 3rd Grade for Kai and 6th Grade for Kali. Kali woke up excited for her first day and Kai woke up pretty upset. Francis and I gave him a little pep talk and he was out the door but told me not to say goodbye when I walked him to the playground. He's such a sweet boy. Then he saw his friends playing football and he was ready to go! Kali was meeting some new friends when she was lining up. I just love these kiddos! I think they're going to have a great year.
