Spring Break 2018

We surprised the kids with a trip to Las Vegas for Spring Break. They were SO excited to finally see it. We spent the first day walking down the strip and seeing as much as we could. 

 The kids could not believe how big everything is there. After doing so much walking of course we had to do a lot of eating. 

We stayed at Circus Circus so the kids got to get bracelets for unlimited rides and that kept them busy for an entire day.  Kali went on a few rides with Kora and got motion sickness

Viva Las Vegas

Francis and I took a trip to Las Vegas for the King's Cup, a soccer tournament that Francis and his team played in. The kids stayed home with Yaya and Granddad and we did a lot of facetiming with them. They had fun at home. Meanwhile in Vegas........

I went to Francis' first game but then the rest of tournament I set out for sight seeing with my friend Ruby that was there with her boyfriend Dave who plays with Fran. The first day we walked all around New York New York where we both stayed. Then, we saw a little parade and followed it to the stadium nearby. We went to the MGM Grand and then did a little shopping at Adidas. It was a fun night. After that we met back up with our men. Francis and I went out for dinner and walked around NY NY again.  The next day the guys had a early game so Ruby and I had breakfast, coffee and set off to see the strip. And, I mean the whole strip! We walked 7 miles and had the best day! 

Then I took a 2 hour nap and waited for Francis to get back from his last game. We got dressed up again and headed out to a delicious Chinese food dinner at Paris with Dave and Ruby.

 One cab ride later at we were at the Hofbraunhouse which was not very exciting but we did the chicken dance and then headed out in a Uber (my first time) back to NY NY. I took my hair down and put on my comfy track suit since we were back "home" and I was done being dressed up,

We met up with Fran's team and another team in the middle casino floor bar which happened to have a DJ. We started dancing and had SO MUCH FUN that we stayed out until 4am!! 

 When it comes to friends we hit the jackpot because we really had the  best night and it's because of the people we were with. This Vegas trip was even better than last year.

The next day Francis and I slept all day. When we finally got up it was later in the day so we went out to eat and then walked around NY NY and then over to the Cosmopolitan. 

It was really cool to see but we were still worn out from the night before so we walked back and then we had dessert and watched a movie in bed. It was such a nice, long weekend.
