4th of July

On the 3rd of July we went to Moon Valley Country Club to watch fireworks and boy were they close! Like pieces of ash falling and hitting us close. We had a fun time seeing so many friends and neighbors there but next year we will sit a little further back :) When we got home we did sparklers and poppers then packed our bags for Pinetop.

4th of July in Payson

We went to Payson for the 4th of July. We stopped by to visit my uncle Roy, hiked,  went out to dinner and got to hang around in the woods, go swimming at the hotel and relax. On the 4th we went to Payson 4th festival downtown and the kids had fun participating in the activities until it got to hot and we headed home and shot fireworks in our front yard.

We also headed over to Tonto Natural Bridge for a hike down under the bridge, it was really pretty and a good hike.

4th of July Weekend

Saturday afternoon we put on our red, white and blue and headed over to our friend's house for a bbq and pool party and stayed 6 hours. It was so much fun and I am pretty sure Kora met everyone at the party. Kali got to use a mermaid tail in the pool with some other girls and Kai had fun with his soccer/school friends.

The next day Kora had her last swimming class. She loved Miss Kristen and really learned a lot.

On the actual 4th of July we went over to swim and BBQ at Grandma Kathi's house. It was a fun afternoon and we loved seeing baby Caige.

After Dark in the Park

We went to After Dark in the Park at Deer Valley Park to see some early fireworks. It was a good time and we had great seats laying on our blanket watching the fireworks above us.

4th of July

We started our day cleaning out our garage. It was SO humid so when it was time to go to Kathi's Francis was ready to swim. He & the kids swam for 2 hours. I helped Mel in the kitchen with the food.

The kids played some checkers with Grandma Kathi & on the piano
Mel's baby is due on the 12th!! yay! We also celebrated Christopher's birthday.

Then we had dinner at my parent's house. I don't have any pics of that.
Then we went and got the neighbors and set off some fireworks, sparklers and pop its.

Kora LOVED the fireworks this year and was not scared to hold a sparkler.
