Lately...

We are all entertained by our sweet little Koko.

Seriously I am not sure why we even give our kids names because we don't call any of them by thier given name. Kali is "sassy", Kai is "Nelly", and Kora is "Koko".

 We had another great rainstorm the other day and of course as soon as the rain starts we all run out the door to get nice & wet. The kids thought the wet chalk was the greatest thing ever!

 and after was a beautiful sunset

 Kali is not sick anymore (she had a bad cough all last week) so she is back to being inches away from Kora at all times.

 Kora's eyes still fluctuate from looking blue & brown so we're not sure what they will be.

 She is 3 weeks now! Time sure flies when you have 3 kiddos to keep you busy.

Lynx Lake

Francis and Kai went on another camping trip to Lynx Lake.

This time it was raining when they got there and the temp dropped 40 degrees from Phx to Prescott.

 The boys made a fire and stayed up late.

 Kai got to help make the fire. He also insisted on bringing all of his "pets" because he said they've never been camping before. So Clifford, T-Bone and the gang all slept in the tent.

 So a few days later when we were all laying around doing nothing Kai said he wanted to go back to the lake & show the girls. I have been feeling much better lately and the thought of being out of the house & being outside sounded wonderful!

So we all decided on a little road trip.

We asked Kora to raise her hand it she was in.....2 hands means YES!! ha!

 We went and picked up subs from Jersey Mike's....seriously they are the BEST & my cousin works there & it's right by our house. Win-Win-Win!

We ate lunch overlooking the lake.

Oh and look at our sweet Kora. She is one of those mythical babies that we've only heard about:

She sleeps in the car!

She did not make one peep there or back.

Why is this so amazing to us?? Kai always got fussy in the car & Kali once cried the entire way to San Diego when she was a baby so to us Kora is an angel!!

 Then it was time to head down to the lake for some fishing.

 Kora and I hung out under the trees and Francis brought a big sleeping bag & blankets so we would be comfy.

 The kids really wanted to catch a fish but they did not. There were some idiots swimming in the lake (right next to the NO swimming signs) and that probably scared the fish away.

 Francis packed up the van full of snacks, drinks, blankets & everything we would need to make us comfortable. What a great guy!

It was a perfect day with great weather and my favorite people :)

Update

This yucky Haboob came rolling in and dusted out our yard....luckily a nice big rain/lightning storm was right behind and Kora was able to feel the rain for the first time.

Kai, Francis & I were outside the entire time it rained and it was wonderful to not feel hot & miserable. Kali was at my Mom's house and has been spending most of her time there since Saturday because she woke up that morning with the WORST cough! We've been trying to keep her away from Kora so when she is here she plays in her room and then she sleeps at my Mom & Dad's house.

We took Kora for her 2 week apt. and they said it's best to not have Kali around Kora at all. We miss our Kali but she LOVES being at Yaya's house!

 Here is Kora having her bath...she is not very happy about bathtime but getting more comfortable each time.

 At her 2 week appt she weighted 9lbs. 4 ounces and is 75%. Her length is 20 3/4 and 50%. Her head is 75%....our other two always had 100% heads so this is a small one :) She is a great eater and LOVES to be all stretched out...no swaddling for this little one.

 and she is as cute as can be!!

I am starting to feel more "normal" & I even vaccumed the house yesterday....and went to the grocery store alone. 

Kai's puppet show

Kai put on a "Jake & the Neverland Pirates" puppet show for us last night.

I am still feeling very sore. I can get some housework done in the mornings when I first get up but by late afternoon I am really sore and exhausted. I am hoping I will feel better next week. (the doctor said things usually get better in week 3) 

Disney Dance Camp

Kali went to Disney Dance Camp this week & had a great time!

 She was so excited everyday to go and always wanted to get there early.

Today was the last day and they put on a little show for family.

Kali has quite the audience.

My Mom (Yaya) and Dad, Aunt Ashly, Grandma Kathi, Kai, Me & Kora and Daddy even surprised us by getting there in time (he had an afternoon meeting at work)

Kali did a great job & she was SO fun to watch!
