School stuff

Kora likes to do pretend homework while Kai works on his. Kai was tested for the gifted program and got in. He is not very excited about extra work, ha!

 Kali is still enjoying 7th grade. Basketball, student council and STEAM are keeping her busy. She also enjoys not wearing warm clothes when it's cold out. This is  a pic of her when I told her it was going to be a high of 58* 

Soccer

Kai's soccer team has been playing well the second half of this season. Here's a pic of the team trying to look tough. Kai just looks sad.

 He got to scrimmage his friend's team and really enjoyed talking to him on and off the field.

 And, we've been going to Fran's games too. The kids built a fort in the desert and we stayed after and had a bbq one game. His team is full of really fun guys so we enjoying hanging out.

Watching Basketball

A childhood friend of mine coaches the Shadow Mountain girl's varsity basketball team so we went to watch them in the semi-finals at Grand Canyon University with my parents. It was a such a fun night and we got to see a little bit of the boys game after. Kali LOVED it!

 Kali's season is almost done and her team is 6-3 and headed to the finals at Moon Valley High School this weekend.

 Aunt Mel, Grandma Kathi and cousin Caige came to her game last week. Go Kali!!

Spartan Race

Kai ran in his first Spartan race this weekend and did a great job! He was in the 10-13 age group so he was on the younger end. It was two miles, up hills, carrying sand bags, climbing ropes, jumping over tires, going through mud and climbing walls. He finished 6th in his age group and had a great time. He went with his friend Jack.
