Tid bits

After we painted yesterday Mr. Becker came home from the gym and we went to the mall for lunch and the Museum of Natural History in Mesa (aka the dinosaur museum).

Kali LOVES learning about rocks and already has a huge collection she inherited from myself & Uncle Cody.

Kai decided his legs didn't work and insisted on being carried the entire two hours. Francis was only allowed to put him down if we were stopping to look at something. Oh that kid!

The kids built this dinosaur out of all these fun velcro pillows they had and this dino had Kali for lunch. We had a nice time....well beside Kai being a bit of a whiner ;)

Oh this is her first and LAST season....she is scared of kicking the ball sooooo yeah last season.

Kick it!

Kali's soccer team scored their first goal and won their first game on Saturday! Kali was so cute out there running her heart out. Kai was cute on the sidelines with his "yummy drink" from Sonic. I made all four of the girls on the team matching soccer headbands, they are so cute! There are some really nice girls on her team, we lucked out. But other than that...NYS is horrible.

Oh well....at least she had a big smile on her face when she got off the field.

Busy Saturday

We had a busy day yesterday.

First, Francis woke up and went to soccer practice.

Then, I took Kali to a birthday party and then it was straight to the soccer game.

After that we were all hungry so we took the kids to dinner at Flamingo Palace--yum! And, dessert at Yogurtini.

When we got home the kids wanted to do some Yoga so we watched a Yoga class for kids online.

It was a busy day, so it was nice to wind down with some Yoga.

I just love spending the day with my little family :)

The first game

I did not get any pics of it but Kali was goalie for one quarter of the game & she did a GREAT job! I forgot to take pics because I was having so much fun watching her block about 5 kicks from going into the goal. Who would have ever thought that our sweet little ballerina would be such a good goalie. And, I must say that the coach did a fine job :)

Adventures in soccer....chapter 1

Kali had her first soccer practice this past weekend.

It was cold...brrrr!

Kali made some new friends.

Coach Becker did a lot of talking.


The team did a lot of running.

and Kai played in the playground.

p.s. I still don't understand soccer, still don't find it interesting but I sure do love the two players in this family!
