Getting into the spirit

Yesterday we woke up at 9:30...awesome! I made waffles and we decorated the Christmas tree. We had holiday music playing and Kora was dancing up a storm.

 by the way Kali wanted her hair cut short so she has this cute little bob

The kids were really excited to see Daddy put the star on

 Love these three crazy, fun, sweet, kiddos!

 It was a perfect way to start the day.

Thanksgiving 2014

Thanksgiving started with a Turkey Bowl at Moon Valley Park

 Kai lost another tooth! We had brunch at Grandma Kathi's house and had fun playing card games.

Then we had dinner at my parent's house and watched football and relaxed after.

It was a really nice Thanksgiving.

Cooler weather

The evenings have been sooooo nice lately. We've even been able to have our first dinner outside!

 Francis built this awesome bench out of cinder blocks and some leftover stone from our fireplace and I made the cushions out of weather resistant fabric, padding and plywood. Then I covered some pillows that we already had in coordinating fabric. It was a fun project.

 This is one wild & crazy girl!

Veteran's Day

Granddad went to talk in Kali's class & Kai's class for Veteran's Day. The kids really enjoyed it!

Prescott in the Fall

It's our tradition to go see the leaves change in the fall in Prescott. It was really chilly up there! We got to get our pants & jacket out. 

 We tried to do some fishing at Lynx Lake but it was SO windy and Kora & Kali were cold.

We had a nice, much needed break from the city.
