Moon Valley Park

Today was Kora's first official park playdate. It was SOOO nice outside & now that Kora is old enough to run around and crawl on the steps she had a great time.
I met a friend of mine from High School up there with her little girl.
Then I ran into two more friends, what a great day!
One thing is for sure, this girl loves to eat! She snacked almost the entire time & even mooched a few off of my friends.

She is also one tough, wild, happy little girl.

Halloween Decor

I could not wait any longer.
The Beckers LLLOOVVEE Halloween!

Soccer

Kai decided to give soccer another try. (he did indoor when he was 4)
He's got the BEST coach!
Daddy.
And, the cutest little fan came to cheer him on at practice.
Kali.
Kai did a really good job & said soccer is awesome!
That was music to Daddy's ears. Francis grew up playing competitive soccer & he was VERY good. So, I know that it's always been him dream to have a little boy that would love it too.
I am happy for the both of my adorable boys.
Go Kai!

14 months

Our crazy little Koko is 14 months. She is into EVERYTHING! She is a climber, screamer, jumper, hair puller, hugger, baby babbling little ball of energy.
There is NEVER a dull moment when she is around. And, if there is a quiet, dull moment then we know we are in big trouble. She loves to sneek away and unroll toilet paper or throw stuff into the toilet. She is learning to open doors so now there will be no stopping her.
Kora loves being outside just like the rest of us & really likes to swing at the park. She loves to swim, play with remote controls, dance to music, play with Kali & Kai, make huge messes, throw food everywhere & she LOVES to snuggle her Daddy. We love this wild and crazy girl.

When we first moved into our home the bricks were orange, the stucco beige & the trim turquoise...YUCK! A few years ago we painted the trim.
We finally decided to finish the rest. First Francis put slate down in our front walkway.
Then I painted the brick & stucco
We liked the slate so much that we decided to cut it brick size and cover the brick pilars by the garage door.
Next up is adding stone to the orange brick by the far right window, getting new gravel & planting the winter lawn.

Since the outside is getting all spiffy I decided to do a project inside on our computer desk. Here is the before....
 and now the after.
I also turned this little mess                                                      into this
I got the idea off of Pinterest. All it took was 4 paint mixing sticks, wood stain some old house numbers that I spray painted silver & a glue gun.

Labor Day Weekend

On long weekends the kids like to make a "big bed" in the living room with all of their big pillows and stuffed animals. Kora thinks it's great. But sadly, I left a bowl of rice out that I was going to feed her and when I left the room I saw this.
Nasty little Koko!
Francis started working out outside again (not sure why since it's SOOO hot still) but Kora likes watching from our bedroom window. (p.s. ignore the awful turquoise trim, we are going to paint that)

Seriously this girl is a crack up!
Any weekend in our family involves swimming, lots of swimming.

This is Kai's snake he got at Target, his names is Charles Ravi III. Why is that his name? Because I said so :) Every time we call the snake that its makes us all laugh.
I bought a big double pack of raspberries to make a fruit salad this weekend....Kora had other plans for it and ate them all.
I started feeling sick last week and I think I have a sinus infection so I was pretty boring this weekend and the kids started to get a little bored. Francis and I got up and went to a cycling class together at the gym. When we got home the kids were ready to go to something fun.

So, we went over to Grandma Kathi's house for lunch and swimming on Labor Day. Look how pretty her floors are! Francis remodeled her house last year. What a handy guy :)

Kali and Grandma Kathi played checkers while I watched Kora run around like the wild girl she is.
Then she decided to go skinny dipping. We had a nice time.
Then Kali had to go home, change & it was off to dance.
