Weekend report

We started our weekend at the school's movie night watching Zootopia, here is Kali and her friends. We stayed until Kora spilled a snowcone on her tutu and got "freezing"

The next morning the boys left early for a soccer game and the girl's came with me to the Undy 5000 Colon Cancer walk/run

 my parents were up there with a few other family members too

 The we drove over to watch Kai's 2nd game of the day. He played well and we got to see him score right as we walked up on a penalty kick.

 Then we came home and got ready for Lashy's pool party. The kid's were so excited for that! He's the nicest kid and we were happy to go celebrate with him. Then, Francis went to his indoor soccer game and I went to a Thai Tini girl's night party, it was SO fun!

On Sunday we hung out at home and enjoyed the yard.

Francis had an outdoor game in the afternoon but the kids and I stayed home and I took a nap, it was great! We sure do jam pack our weekend.

Team Chadeen

This year Kali went down to do the Team Chadeen run/walk with my parents & Uncle Bret. She got to meet Big Red

 and the Gorilla

 After, they went to eat at Golden Corral for a mini family reunion. I was home with Kora since she was sick & later that day Kai had two soccer games. He scored 3 goals. 

Weekend

We recently got an Ipod and the kids LOVE it. They play learning games & they earn 20 minutes a day if they are good & they like to play Angry Birds or Where's My Water. We got a little fuzzy bear holder that Kora watches a little bears face sing & make faces.  Look how cute these two are :)

 Friday night we went to Desert Ridge to have dinner with Grandma Kathi. We passed a cool comic book store which turned out to also be a really neat museum.

 Seriously, any place that has Avengers, Star Wars, & Pirates of the Carribean stuff in one place is a score in our book!

Then we went to Dave & Busters to eat a really yummy meal.

 Then it was time for games

 Kora spent most of the night eating

 

Kali won 1500 tickets in 5 minutes

 

and Kora fell asleep

 The next day we went to Home Depot to make bird feeders

And, again Kora fell asleep :)

 And, Saturday night Francis and I ran in the Rave Run 5k. It was so much fun!

 The perfect date night.

A LONG short trip

Tuesday we left for Whiteriver, AZ to stay a night and attend my mom's cousin's funeral in Pinetop. We stayed at Honda casino and got to spend time with my cousin, his girlfriend and their kiddos--we had a great time seeing them! They had a puppy and a kitten so they kids loved that and had fun playing with their cousins.

Honda had all of these dead stuffed animals that the kids were amazed by & that I was a tad disgusted by. I mean I can see shooting a bear or a bobcat if it is coming toward you but really could an elk or a deer kill you?? I think not. And don't even get me started on killing quail, rabbits or chipmunks--grrr! Okay enough on my anti-hunting agenda.

The casino also had cardboard cutouts of celebrities all over the place so we took pics with them. Oh and did you know you are not suppose to take pics in the casino?? They told me to stop but my motto is to do what you want and apologize really nicely like you had NO clue :) It works.
Wednesday we woke up and went to Chadeen's funeral. It was really nice and so sad. She was only 60 years old and she was always so kind, loved to laugh and she was beautiful. She had colon cancer and was not able to beat it. This is why our family will be running in the Colon Cancer Alliance Undy 5000, it's a 5K that will be downtown on Nov 21st. I have a link on my side bar that can give you more info if you would like to sign up to run with us! It is a great reason to get in shape and raise money for a good cause.

*Oh and I cannot end this post without mentioning my kids accomplishments on this trip:

-Kali jumped on the bed after eating dinner & threw up

-We had a noise complaint at the Casino that we were too loud (the kids we jumping all over the place and being sooo loud)

-Kai took a drink from my large lemonade at Samarai Sams on the way home and spilled the whole thing!

-Kali got car sick and threw up her Samarai Sams all over my dress I wore to the funeral :(
