Halloween 2014

Kora and I started our day off going to the bank where they gave her "meme" (lollipop) at 9:15am. Probably not the best way to start the day. Right after we got to the school, I took this photo of my little Snow White & she dropped the meme & picked it back up to eat it. GREAT.
Kali's grade was doing Pumpkin investigations
it was a little crazy but the kids seemed to have fun
 Kora played in the dirt

Kali and her friends Monica (above) and Lauren

Then Kora and I went to Target and she LICKED the handle of the cart. GREAT! Sure glad she got a flu shot this week. She changed into her Elsa costume.....then changed AGAIN
 to this cute little kitty
 meow!
Then we headed over to Kai's class party. There were SOOO many parents there, it was great to have so much help!

right after this adorable picture I saw Koko eat out of the garbage can. GREAT AGAIN! What the heck Koko? This gal is gross.

Kai & his teacher Mrs. Del Rosso & the student teacher Mrs. Lingburg

Koko got right in the action

Barro's pizza for dinner & pumpkin carving
Kai the knight & Kali the Dia de los Muertos Sugar Skull
Of course an hour before we were going to trick or treat the kids decided they did not want to wear their party costumes from last week so we came up with these.
we set up a little photo booth in our front yard

Kora was sleeping away after a long day at the school with me so I took Kali & Kai trick or treating first

Kora finally woke up and was ready to get some candy
 Kora LOVED trick or treating

Kali took our pictures in our "booth" and then it was time to go through all the candy
and Kora and Kai changed in to comfy clothes & ran wild
it was a LONG, fun, busy, sugar filled day :)

Kali's last day of 1st grade

Kali's last day of 1st grade was today. She went in for an hour to say goodbye and having her classmates sign her book. I was mostly just trying to keep the wild ones from hurting her arm. She was happy to get to say goodbye to her teacher, Miss Henline who will not be coming back next year. I can't believe Kali is headed to 2nd grade! Tomorrow she will be going to an orthopedic surgeon so we will get some answers about her arm.
