Kali's first homecoming

Kali has been LOVING high school and had so much fun during Homecoming week. She dressed up for spirit week, went to the game with friends and dance too.

Evening of the Arts

Tonight was evening of the arts at the school. Kali's poem was one of 4, 4th grade poems published in the school poetry book so she read it aloud. Then we headed over to the book fair & Yaya got the kids the books they wanted. Koko even found one too. When we walked in the book fair she said, "Wow".

 Then it was time to go in the hallways and see the kid's art on display.

 Kai showed us the first grade garden. Kora and I came and helped the kids plant this so it was neat to see the progress.

 Love these fun, exhausting, emotional, crazy, talented, happy kids.

 Koko was really happy to be at the school. 

 Then the kids got some free ice cream and we waited for the string performance. Grandma Kathi and Yaya came with us.

 Kali's fourth grade string did a great job. 

 Finally we rushed over for Kai's singing. It was hilarious! There was an annoying kid next to him that would not stop touching him & Kai got mad at him and he finally left him alone. I swear there is always some boy touching Kai & bugging him every time I am at the school.
